when i was a kid, i heard a story of tortoise and dog."i can win you in any race ',the tortoise boasted to the dog."with your short legs ? the dog asked in astonishment.Any way the dog took up the tortoise challenge because he was sure of victory and so the race was schedule for the following day.But during the night time ,the tortoise arranged bones at the different points on the race course.When the race took off the next day ,the the dog of course out ran his challenger ,but somewhere at the middle he was distracted by the bones he found on his way and stopped several times to feast on them to his dismay before he could finish with the last bone,it was all over ;he had underestimated his opponent ;the tortoise had crossed the finish line ahead of him.Inspite of the fact that the dog had all the potentials , charisma, ability and speed ,the tortoise outwitted him to win the race.Do you know the devil is just that way with his schemes of different kinds of bible  distractions.

Some Christians have played the dog a long time ,the devil has continually whipped them inspite of their authority in Christ .Bible distraction is the name of the game ! i always say a lie isn't always the opposite of truth but the perversion of the truth.It may sound like truth but it veers off in a most subtle manner .It'll be easy for the devil to distract you when you don't make God's word your focus .Solomon  said in the bible;eccl 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all." the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong ,nether yet favor to men of skills.The wisdom of this world will ultimately  fail but God's word is everlasting.

Many fail because they refuse to focus on God's word in their marriages,their business,their bodies,raising their children ,regulating their habits and other situation in their lives.one of the bible quotes given by our lord Jesus that can be very useful on this issue of distractions in the bible is,matt4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.In order words devil will be looking for something to distract you with,he will be looking for ways to distract your mind.The only sure way to overcome bible distractions is by making God's word your priority and you shall prosper in Jesus name.

The bible made us to understand that the cares of this world have choke the word of God in Christians heart and this is one of the major weapons of bible distraction in the hand of the devil ,refuse to be distracted through the worldly cares, be conscious of the fact that the{holy spirit} greater one is in you, allow the holy spirit to dominate your life then you will always overcome the devil in whatever form of his methodology .(matt13:1-23).

Thank God for the ability he has given you to overcome bible distractions by his spirit and the power to fix your mind on his word and lean confidently in his power.

THE ESSENCE OF TRUE WORSHIP

It’s vital to learn how to minister to the Lord and


more importantly, know when to pray the prayer

of worship. The opening scripture says “…as they

ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Ghost said…”;

letting us know that the power of God’s Spirit is

manifested as we minister to the Lord, in an atmosphere

of true worship.

To minister to the Lord is to worship Him according

to His Word; to make confessions to His name.

Confessions here comes from the Greek word

‘Homologia’ which means ‘speaking the same thing in

consent or consonance with God; to say what God has

said in agreement with Him. So in ministering to the Lord

you make your confessions to God based on the Word;

you say beautiful things about Him and revere His

awesome majesty in line with the revelation of His

personality in the Word. Ministering to the Lord is the

essence of worship; it’s a very important aspect of our

Christian service.

Note that the Spirit only spoke after the people had

‘ministered to the Lord.’ You’ll never know the depth in

the Spirit that is beyond the ordinary until you learn to

minister to the Lord in true worship, praise and

thanksgiving by the Spirit and the Word.

You’re a king, and kings don’t beg; they make decrees.
Job 22:28 says, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall
be established unto thee….” The reason you can make
decrees or issue commands and have them established
unto you is because you’re acting on the Word; you’re
taking your place as God’s king-priests, ordained to reign
in the earth.
Quit crying or begging God to do something about
your situation; decree the Word of God concerning that
You’re A King;
Say The Word!
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we
shall reign on the earth (Revelation 5:10).

1 John 5:13
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Sometimes,we hear people say that christanity is one of the great religions of the world.As a result , they refer to one who is a christian as a religious person .But christianity is not a religion ;there is absolute nothing religious about christianity .True christianity ,first is the revelation of eternal life. True christianity means that an eternal God has taken up his abode in the quarters of a man's spirit.
True christianity is not a way of worship ,nor is it a way of serving God . It is the life of God in a human person.It is a living relationship with a living God .When you 're in relationship with someone ,that's not religion !Someone once said ,"I want to become religious ,so i think i should become a christian !"No. That's an out-and -out misnomer and a complete misunderstanding of who a christian is .A christian is one who is indwelt by divinity .
When you become a christian , it means eternal life has been imparted into your spirit .It means you've embraced the grace ,glory ,and the power of God ,that dispel darkness ,sickness ,disease,poverty ,failure ,and everything the devil brings .It means you've become a God-carrying vessel.No wonder the bible says christians are the temple of the living God (2corinthians 6:16),and only those who are born again are truly christians(john3:37).
So when you say you're a christian ,it means God has fully tabernacle in you ! you 've become his living headquarters;He looks through your eyes and walk with your legs ,because you've become his vessel.You've become the one in whom God dwells; that's true christianity :God Almighty taking up his abode in the quarters of your heart and imparting to your human spirit his eternal life and divine nature.Tell your friend about this blog and have a look at the following recommended items for your growth.
