Bible Exposition On Humility

Exposition using biblical principles on humility,showing God's reactions to Christians that are humble and showing the benefit of being humble from God's perspective.

Check this bible verse:(1 peter 5:6)

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God , that he may exalt you in due time "

God promotes and exalt the humble,but resist the proud (james4:6).When you read about the lord Jesus ,the bible says He "made himself of no reputation , and took upon him the form of a servant ,and was made in the likeness of men :And being found in fashion as a man ,he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death of the cross" check this bible verse (Philippians 2:7-8).Jesus had a choice ;He could have decided to stick to his status as the son of God ,but he humbled himself and was obedient even unto death.

Consequently,the bible says "wherefore God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name :That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is the lord,to the glory of God the father".Check this bible verse(PHIL2:7-8).The father was challenged by the humility of Jesus and bestowed upon him the highest authority.

David was also an example of an humble person.Even though he had been anointed to be king over is real, he never spoke evil of king Saul, though  the latter was after his life .Even when he had the opportunity to kill Saul ,David said,"The lord forbid that i should do this thing unto my master, the lord's anointed ,to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the lord "check this bible verse (1sam24:6).He still referred to Saul as 'my master" because of his humble spirit, of course ,David went on to become is real's greatest king, and the man who God himself described as "a man after my own heart" bible verse (acts13:22).What an honour to be described this way by God almighty!

If you remain humble ,God will definitely and surely promote and exalt you at his appointed time.Get rid of arrogance, rudeness and pride.Don't be puffed up ,thinking you're better than others.Be humble ,for that is the path of greatness.

Recognition of God's voice bible verse expositions.

The issue of God speaking to human beings has been causing a lot of arguments.Can God still talk to people ,is it possible to hear his voice do we have any bible verse for our expositions.

that God could have been talking to you and you didn’t know it was Him. Remember the story of the little boy, Samuel. God called him three times, but he thought it was Eli the priest (1 Samuel 3:4-10). Why? Because you see, when God talks, He talks with the voice of a man, and a lot of times, He uses a familiar voice.
When Jesus spoke out of heaven to Saul of Tarsus (who later became Paul), He called him by name and said “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he (Saul) said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest...” (Acts 9:4-5). Jesus had a dialogue with Paul in the Hebrew tongue (Acts 26:14), a language that Paul understood.
God still talks to us today; in fact, He does every day! He can talk to you in a familiar voice, and in a language you understand.Start training yourself to recognize His voice. The more you study and familiarize yourself with God’s Word, the easier it is for you to recognize and respond when He speaks to you.

Bible exposition on eternal life
1john 5:11-13 “And this is the record that God hath given us eternal life , and this life is in his son .He that hath the son of God hath life , and he that hath not the son of God hath not life . These things have I written unto you that believes on the name of the son of God, that ye may know that ye may believe on the name of the son of God.
This life is eternal, indestructible life and it is called Zoë .He that hath the son hath Zoë. Zoe is the God kind of life (the essence of divinity, the life of God) .There is plant life, animal life, human life, God’s life.
Having Zoë through the son means you are more than human ,you are a partakers of the divine nature ,you are entitle to divine operations like miraculous acts.
The bible says “But we have this treasure in earthen vessel that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. (2cor4:7).That power is Zoë is in you, if you are born again .Eternal life has become your present day possession.
John 3:16”For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life (everlasting life is eternal life).
This means such person has been set aside, he should not perish .He has been branded for life. It is another way of telling the devil, don’t touch this ones he has been separated unto life, praise God.
